Rules of Necessary Conduct:
Breaking these laws is punishable on death
1. Ones merit earns their keep, above all else. If you do not do your part, you do not eat.
2. All canines must reproduce once before the end of their cycle, all wolves are permitted to reproduce.
3. The young are the pack's future, and no harm shall come to them, if an adult inflicts intentional, or repeated, harm to a pup, they are breaking one of the highest laws.
4. All canines are equal. Regardless of species, every member of the pack is equally important. This law cannot be punished for, but it held as a necessary conduct, as it maintains the harmony among the pack.
Rules of Honourable Conduct:
Breaking these tenants results in immediate demotion to Omega status
1. No male may not force himself upon a female, with intents of reproduction.
2. If there is any dissent between two individuals, they must honourably duel among the majority of adult pack members. Both individuals must be consenting.
3. Healers are to never be attacked, the only excepting circumstance being a duel.
4. Any higher position in the pack may be challenged for, but must be won in an honourable duel, as above.
5. A hunter may not steal the food, or kill, of another.
The System of Spirituality
The spirits protect those of Angelus, particularly the moon and stars. They guide us, give us strength, and give us pups. Each high station in the pack has a star with which their position is associated, and a title with which it comes. To curse the stars is to curse those with their names. The moon is considered the mother star, as he name is always given to the alpha, while the larger, brighter, stars are shared among the council. Lesser stars can be bestowed as an honour among those who are not seen as deserving of stations among the council.
Daily Living
Members of the pack spend a considerable amount of time engaging in the activities of their stations. Hunters spend a good 10 hours of the day hunting, healers roughly the same amount of time producing medicines or tending to the sick and wounded, pups being pups, and so on. The rest of the pack's time is spent on a variety of things, such as eating, leisure, and patrol duties. The Alpha determines how hunted food is divided, usually dictating this based upon how many hours have been spent by the cast working that day.
Hunters are the only members of the pack who do not receive portions based on time working, but on how much they've caught. Scaling the relative amount of how much they caught, against how much is needed, a hunter is allowed to keep part of his daily kills. Thus, the more a hunter kills, the more they may keep.
Roughly two hours of each day is spent in private reverence to the stars, though private reverence is simply another term for assured free-time, and canines are free to spend this time however they may wish.
