Eva was flying over the tundra, she was pretty sure that no one had claimed it yet so it was free hunting ground and being an arctic wolf she liked the cold it offered. She was flying above the what trees there were keeping an eye out for pray, a nice arctic hare would be nice since those were bigger than normal rabbits.
Something else caught her eye though, something that seemed a little out of place in the frozen white of the tundra, black fur. She circled lower to get a better look and found it to be a canine. She circled till she could light in front of the dog she had run into, or was it a wolf?
"Hello," She said hesitantly. She trusted her pack and would be friendly to anyone, no matter if they were part of it or not, but she had learned to be cautious of new canines because you never knew what they would do. "May I ask your name? Mine is Eva," She said still a bit cautious. She was far enough away that the new canine couldn't easily bite her but close enough that it was still somewhat easy to hear them and them to hear her she hoped.

Lord Nightroad had gone to this territory to check it out, no new packs or group of canines. Well that was fine. But he doubted that his pack would like this frozen land let alone try to claim it. THus far there was no need to claim more territory, the ground they had was good enough. It gave them food and shelter, enough to get by. However there was nothing wrong with seeing what else was there. The cold air felt nice and the hybrid liked it, though he soon paused. A shadow was cast on the ground for a few moments before it moved elsewhere. It wasn't a bird, he could tell that much from the shadow.
The shadow landed and immedeatly his metallic gold gaze didn't like what it saw. It looked like a winged wolf, a pure wolf possibly. Sure Nightroad himself was a hybrid of wolf and dog with more wolf in him, but his blood held dog in it. Enough to make him a hybrid. A serious gaze landed upon her.
"I am Lord Nightroad, are you a purebreed of wolf?" Lord Nightroad questioned as he stood there, standing up as tall as he could.

Eva smiled at Lord Nightroad, she thought he might be an alpha because the Lord part sounded like a title. She wasn't sure why he was asking about her being a purebreed so she gave him a questioning look before replying.
"Yes I am pure wolf, not sure why that matters though," She said, her voice holding a tinge of question almost making her words a question. She didn't particularly care if someone was a purebreed or a mix of wolf and dog, she had never cared. Maybe this was someone who wasn't and he had been teased by purebreeds before? Surely someone couldn't downright hate purebreed for no reason, or ask a question like that for really no reason either. She ruffled her wings nervously while waiting for his reply, ready for him to attack and wondering if she could talk him out of it if he did.

The smile wasn't returned, the hybrid merely stood there. Molten gold gaze staring at her awaiting an answer. Ah so she was a purebreed, corrupted beings they were. Nightroad had never been teased, he just heard many ill things of them and the fact his father was no doubt a wolf made him hate them more. His mother was the one to inspire the hate, her stories fed it as a pup.
"It matters because you lot are doing all the ill in this world." Lord Nightroad replied. "Now begone, I have no desire to talk to one of your kind."
His voice showed he was serious as well as his gaze with that he started to walk away. He would tolerate for a little if it was the other Alphas but he'd still hate them. Those that were one breed thought hey were superior but they were more corrupted than a mix breed was.

"I am doing noting ill in this world, I'm not even in a pure pack!" She said, ignoring his warning to go away and his gaze she followed.
She was serious as well and she probably wouldn't leave him alone easily, at least not till he changed his mind. She was very persistent and continued to follow for as long as he walked away from her. She wasn't sure if he knew she was following or not and she wasn't sure if she should say something or not either.
"You know I'm just going to keep following till you turn around," She said after what seemed like forever but was probably only a couple minuets of following.

"YOU are of pure blood, a pure wolf no? YOu said you were. Therefore you are corrupt like the lot of them." Lord Nightroad barked back at her, not looking at her.
However he knew she was following, she was walking in the snow as well. The sound of snow shuffling was one his ears picked up on. He wasn't some pup who couldn't tell he was being followed. As the Lord of his pack, he sometimes had the Captains or Avire following him as they spoke to him. There was no Lady of the pack, he had yet to take a mate.
"I can always tear your throat out and leave you're body here to freeze as it rots if you do!!" Nightroad snarled, looking over his shoulder at her. "I will not allow you or one of yours to step a paw on my territory if you follow me there. YOu best run home."

"I am NOT corrupt! I never was and I never will be. That the whole reason I didn't go running off to that pure wolf pack as soon as I got old enough, because I want NOTHING to do with them!" She said, anger tinging her voice. She hated the pure wolf pack for that reason, that they were corrupt and thought they were better than everyone else.
Eva growled,"You will do no such thing," she said though her growling. "I do not intend to step onto your territory however this is unclaimed therefor I can follow you as much as I please. Besides there is no way you could catch me if I took to the sky," She said, trying to make her voice sound calm and not vicious or like she was about to attack.

Lord Nightroad turned round, his hackles raising somewhat as he stood there as tall as he could. His gaze showed a very harsh glow to them as he stared at her.
"It is in your breeding, wolf! That is something you can't deny even if you aren't in the pack with your kind!!" Lord Nightroad snarled. "I know this is unclaimed land wolf! Then you best take to the sky and go home!!! I am very sick of your company!!! Now GO HOME or GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!"
HIs lips curled upward slightly, showing he was none too pleased. He wanted a relaxing time but instead he got this. He was a Lord, the alpha of his pack and dealing with this corrupted slim was something he didn't care for. She dared to talk to him the way she did and he was honestly tired of it. Lord NIghtroad stood there, molten gold gaze glaring down at Eva. The hybrid was a intimidating force when needed.

Eva wondered briefly what made him hate purebreeds so much. Being a pure wolf or dog didn't make someone bad or corrupt, it was how the person acted. She looked to the intimadating hybrid and decided that she wasn't just going to leave him alone.
"No, I'm not just going to turn around and go do whatever I was doing. I want you to realize that not every purebreed is the same, I'm not like most wolves. Not that I want to fight you or anything but I really want you to hear me out. I am not haughty or anything else I actually hold others, even hybrids, higher than myself most of the time. I at least see them as equal if I don't hold them higher. Everyone has a part to play in this world, I along with you and everyone else. I am not corrupt," By the end her voice was small as Lord Nightroad pretty much towered over her, or at least that's how she felt. She began to actually look at him and realized that if this came to a fight she would be greatly outmatched if she didn't take to the sky quickly.

She was just a annoying bug! He wanted to be left alone, not in the company of this purebreed! If it was a pup then he would be kinder, a bit more willing to accept it. Alas this she-wolf was a adult, a young one yes but a adult nonetheless! She was challenging him without realizing it, speaking against his words, challenging his words. If any of his pack had been here they'd wonder why he put up with it. Well he wasn't. Ears flattening, he lunged forward as quickly as could. Aiming to grab the winged she-wolf by the neck and attempting to force her down.
If he succeeded his fangs wouldn't penetrate but they would feel close to it to the she-wolf. If he managed to get her down, he would then attempt to put her on her side and hold her there. All the while his hackles were raised and his ears lowered in a angered stance. No blood would be drawn...for now.
"See here!!!" Lord Nightroad snarled clearly through the fur. "I care not for the words of a purebreed like you!! I may not be your alpha but I AM one, you might be too young to see that you are challenging the wrong soul! I will let you off with a warning but mind you, Alphas of any sort don't take well to being challenged. UNderstood?!"

Eva didn't have time to react as Lord Nightroad lunged at her. She yelped as his teeth went around her throat but could tell that they hadn't gone into her neck just yet. Fear shot through her and she was careful to lay perfectly still.
"I'm sorry! I didn't Want to actually challenge you!" She said softly, tears in her eyes. She was terrified and she wasn't showing any sign of fighting, in fact she was showing every sign of standing down. She was even showing her neck more. Her breathing was fast, as was her heart rate. She really hadn't meant to challenge him! What if he didn't believe her? She started to panic more and had to force herself to stay still till he let her go.
If he did let her go she would take to the sky and out of his reach. "Just think about what I said," She would call down. Then she would fly off to do the hunting she originally set out to do.

Good, she saw the error of her ways. With this known and her words done, he released her, and started to walk away. He was giving her a warning then, didn't matter if he believed her or not honestly. Sure she showed that she was sorry and for that he let her go without any wounds. Hearing her wings flapping, he paid them no heed as he kept walking. Ignorant she-wolf, even after getting a lesson she still spoke nonsense at least now she was gone and he was free to roam about without any interference.
